Both boys did really well getting their teeth cleaned and meeting with the dentist. I think it helps that her name is Dr. Bird, she drives a fun yellow jeep with a big bird and toothbrush on it, and she lives just down the road from us. I couldn’t think of a better way to introduce the boys to the dentist!!

Trip to Annapolis
I had to make one more trip up to MD for crabs before the season was over. So the boys and I headed up for a quick long weekend visit.
They’ve turned into really great travelers (people always comment on how well they behave!)…
We took the boat over to the eastern shore for lunch and some playtime on the beach…
We went to the Science Center in Baltimore again to see the dinosaurs. It never gets old…GG even laid on a bed of nails!!!
We had lunch in Little Italy at a restaurant I’ve loved since I was their age…
The next day we hung out in Annapolis (you can tell the boys were over pictures by this point)…
Oh – and those crabs I was craving – he’s what’s left of the damage… it was definitely worth the trip :)

You’ve Got a Friend in Me
Having two boys less than 2 years apart is definitely exhausting, but in the best ways. As they continue to grow up we hope that they remain best friends, no matter what life throws their way. It’s the beginning of a beautiful friendship…

Sean the T-ball Player
Sean is officially on his first sports team, The Calvary Lions! He is learning to play T-ball this fall and can’t be happier. He has a uniform, cleats, a baseball hat AND glove. Life doesn’t get much better. But wait – it does. His best friend Michael is also on his team! Their little brothers (Dylan and Shaun) are honorary members and run the bases before and after practice with the big kids. John and Tim (Michael’s dad) help in the outfield and some nights during practice so it’s been fun for the whole family! Sean winds up like a pitcher every.single.time he throws the ball so who knows – maybe we’ll have a pitcher in the family?

A Wedding BBQ for Michelle and Paul
Let the wedding festivities begin! Paul and Michelle will be getting married in April and we can’t wait. We went to Richmond for a BBQ at Gus and Leigh’s house to meet most of the bridal party as well as Paul’s mom, Marilyn. It was really nice to get to meet their friends and family and we just can’t wait for the wedding!

Polly Prissy Pants
Just some random pics of Polly that I thought would be worth posting. She’s a member of the family, too, for better or worse :)
