Santa was very good to us this year.  The boys couldn’t wait to see what was under the tree!

Singing Christmas Bears

We took a trip uptown to see the famous Christmas Singing Bears again this year.  It was a lot of fun, although Sean wasn’t so sure about the bears this time around.  But we got to eat lunch at a fun restaurant, see the trains and dance.  What could be better?

The best part of the trip, though, was when we were walking down the street and passed a policeman in an all brown uniform with a brown hat.  Without missing a beat, as we walked by Dylan pointed at him and yelled at us “Look, Mom! A Cowboy!!”

Baking Christmas Cookies

Everyone got to pick a favorite cookie this year.  Daddy chose peanut butter blossoms, Sean (and Mommy) chose chocolate crinkles, and Dylan chose pretzel buttons.  I’m having to get used to the fact that I am no longer the only person who likes to lick the bowl in this house!

Visit with Santa

We carried on our annual tradition of seeing Santa with Julia and Lucas this year. Both boys were able to tell Santa what they wanted and were really excited to see him.  So excited that there eyes were nearly shut in every picture from smiling so much!

Fun with Dry Ice

I don’t think it matters how old you are – playing with dry ice never gets old.

No Explanation Needed

Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving was spent in Annapolis this year.  We started off with a typical dinner at our favorite Thai restaurant…

…followed by a birthday celebration for Pop Pop!
There was lots of wine drinking cooking and lots of shoesJohn had the honor of dropping the turkey into the deep fryer…… and the guys took their turkey frying job very seriously (aka they stood around and drank beer and watched the fryer for a while making sure to let John know when it was time to pull it out).
They even started converting the youngest men!
Mom had a beautiful table which Dylan found quite suitable for a pre-dinner serenade.
Dylan thought Omi’s wheels were something to be desired and just looked at her in awe most of the day.The dogs put on their best begging faces and I’m sure made out quite nicely given how close the boys were eating to the floor :)I actually got Phil to SMILE in a picture with me!!And Granny had a very special story to share with the boys about King Kong!All in all we had a wonderful time with family, eating too much and staying up too late.  It was perfect.
